Roofing Contractor Trailer Restoration - Windham, ME

This project came to us from a local roofing contractor in Windham, Maine, who was ready to scrap two aging backup trailers. Instead of sending them to the junkyard, he reached out to Varney Truck Company to see what could be done. After reviewing the trailers, we recommended a full sandblast and refinish, giving them a second life with professional-grade coatings that would hold up to daily jobsite use.

We completed this project entirely on-site at the customer’s shop using our mobile blasting system, capable of handling full trailers and heavy equipment without the need for transport. The trailers were fully sandblasted — including the frame, crossmembers, sides, and undercarriage — down to clean, bare steel. Once prepped, they were coated with Imron Industrial Epoxy Primer for corrosion protection, followed by an Imron Industrial Polyurethane Topcoat for long-term durability and gloss retention.

The customer decided on a John Deere Green finish, tying it perfectly into his company branding and logo.
