How We Achieve a Flawless Finish

Dump trucks are our bread and butter here in southern Maine. We work closely with owner-operators and small fleet companies that take pride in how their equipment looks. When a customer drops off a truck, we go over everything: fuel tanks, hydro tanks, tarp arms, diamond plate boxes, step boxes, and treads. There's no point in making a fuel tank look like a mirror if the steps and boxes are still crusty and oxidized. Even though polishing those steps is tough on buffs, we do it right because the finished product is worth it.

• Our polishing work typically follows a 3-4 stage sanding process and a 3-stage polishing process:
• Sanding: 320, 600, 800 grits (sometimes starting as low as 80, 180, 320, 600, 800 on heavily pitted surfaces)
• Polishing: Cutting stage, mid-stage, and final finish.
